It usually concludes with a solid conclusion. Informal essays are witty and creative writing that is usually backed by supporting evidence. They usually end with an enthralling conclusion. It is possible to argue that formal essays are more likely to grab the interest of a reader than an informal essay, and it was for this reason that essays were often described as the “lingerie of the century” – a reference to the literary and theatrical characteristics of the essay writing style.
