Implementation of the Provincial Government of Aurora of the enhanced community quarantine due to Novel Coronavirus Disease led to a total of 137 individuals stranded in Barangay San Juan, Maria Aurora, Aurora as of April 02, 2020, according to Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer Aida H. Rutaquio. 

Food, hygiene kits, and sleeping kits were given by the Provincial Government of Aurora to help the stranded individuals during their 14-day quarantine in Canili National High School. Barangay Health Workers in the area helped in preparing food for stranded individuals. Social Workers aid in assistance to the quarantine area or temporary shelter. Canili National High School serves as the quarantine or temporary shelter for the stranded individuals. 

The said stranded residents of Aurora were not allowed to enter the province as per strict enforcement of complete travel ban to and from the Province of Aurora for all travelers including residents of the Province of Aurora under Executive Order 2020-0016 and Executive Order No. 2020-0018 issued by Acting Governor Christian M.
